SAN Electro Heat Celebrates 75th Anniversary and Inaugurates New Administration Building
Big milestones deserve to be celebrated! SAN Electro Heat has turned 75 and opened a brand-new administration building in Græsted. These milestones were honoured by guests from NIBE Group.
SAN Electro Heat A/S has reached an important milestone
On December 9, the company celebrated its 75th anniversary and the inauguration of its new administration building in Græsted. The building has been ready and in use for some time, but with the paving and parking area now completed, we were finally able to mark the occasion.

The event was attended by representatives from NIBE Group, including Gerteric Lindquist (CEO and Managing Director), Christer Fredriksson (Head of NIBE Element), and Ole Steen Bækby (Division Manager for Wind & Railway). Both Gerteric Lindquist and Michael Laursen emphasized that the investment in the new building was approved because SAN has delivered significant growth over the years.

Family business -now part of NIBE Group family
Founded in 1950 as the family-owned company Svend A. Nielsen A/S, SAN has grown to four times its original size since becoming part of NIBE Group in 2001. Gerteric Lindquist highlighted that NIBE Group is a family of manufacturing companies and that maintaining production in Europe is essential to preserving the company’s identity and ensuring confidence in the future.
Recognizing efforts
As part of the celebration, the executives thanked employees for their cooperation during the relocation, recognized the management team for completing the construction project within budget – and every employee received a gift in appreciation of their efforts.
