EREMA Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen Ges.m.b.H. has its headquarters in Ansfelden near Linz in Austria and specialises in the development and manufacturing of plastics recycling systems and components. Founded in 1983, the company is now the world market leader. Some 7,000 EREMA recycling systems are now in use worldwide. With subsidiaries in the USA, China and Africa, as well as around another 50 representatives on all five continents, the company has a reliable network to implement customised plastics recycling solutions for customers around the world and promote a circular economy. This is based on innovative recycling technologies for the processing of plastics in the form of inhouse waste, bottle-to-bottle, post-consumer and fibres to produce recycled pellets that meet the highest quality specifications.

What kind of heaters do you use?

Square duct heaters and round flow heaters.

What do you use it for?

For high end PET ”bottle to bottle” recycling, respectively for our ”Vacunite” machine type

What do you like about the heaters?

They really work well, there are no problems. We are very satisfied.

What was the challenge you had before you contacted us originally?

We want to preassemble the machine, before we sent it to our customers. Goal was that we have less installation work as possible at customer site. So we decided to use a modular construction. These modules must fit into a 40ft container, so we are able to send the machine modules worldwide. Pre-assembled as much as possible.

The challenge was to carry out the pre-assembly as space-saving as possible and to ensure efficient assembly. SAN won the inquiry, because they had the best ideas and a more optimal solution.

What do you like about the cooperation with SAN Electro Heat?

The communication is good, and the reaction time is short, 1-2 days is maximum. And as I mentioned before, there are no issues with the products. We are very satisfied.
