In 1963 a new factory in North Sealand was opened. The company moved its production, sales and administration to these premises, while the sales office in Copenhagen was also kept open for three more years. During the next years the production capacity was extended several times by enlarging the existing factory.
The SAN company was changed into a limited company in 1972, and in 1985 the son of the Nielsen family took over after his father, who had retired.
In 1996 the company changed its profile. The company logo was changed from blue into a warm red colour, a new font was introduced, and layout on all papers, brochures etc. was modernized.
A new 1500 square meter factory hall was built in 1998, and stock and shipping department was concentrated in this department.
In 2001 the Nielsen familiy sold the company to the Swedish industry group of companies NIBE Industrier AB. SAN maintained its position now under NIBE Element as probably the most dynamic and flexible company in Europe within design and product development of professional electrical heating equipment.
The company's focus in 2003 is industrial process customers primarily on the European market.
