SWITCH POINT HEATING SYSTEMS
SAN manufactures point heating systems for a comprehensive row of European railway systems.
The system consists of a unique flat stainless tubular heating element,
which has been especially developed to resist the tough environments,
which are in the rail-environment. Here are both corrosion problems and
problems regarding resistance to heavy vibrations and shocks
considered. Apart from these heating elements, the system comprises a
complete control and adjustment equipment from snow detectors,
temperature- and wind controls over transformers, clips, boards and
monitoring equipment via computer systems.
